This site, Science at Home, provides many links to science activities developed to demystify science for adults and children while fostering scientific inquiry and analysis. Projects are organized according to what room of the house they take place in. Some of these include--in the bathroom, caught in the vortex; in the kitchen, does a waterdrop have skin? and who makes the best bubbles?; in the refrigerator, eggshell architecture; in the laundry room, great gobs of goop; and in the garage, windowsill greenhouse. This is a great place for the family to explore together.
